In 1998 Werner Hippler played for the Detroit Lions and he is one of the most popular German players.

At Fire in 1999 he received 7 passes for 81 yards, but season 2000 wasn`t that bright for him and he signed on in the XFL.

Now the Galaxy fans are extremely delighted to see him back in purple for season 2003.
