Aja Addy live
Interview and live performance
Video
The African Master Drummer and Tigra Priest Aja Addy
said in his very last interview:
"It`s a poison ! When some people can`t move,
can`t dance, don`t smile.
That`s what Aja Addy had tried to cure throughout his
entire life, which ended for him in 2002 during one
of his regular tours in Japan.
Catch a vibe from the videos featuring a live performance
with him and family drummer Otou.
The video interview touches also Kofe Anan, Ghana
and other earthly subjects.
Drumming is a medicine !
As soon as people can move, their smile comes back
and the poison goes.
Aja Addy can look back at the life of a teacher, performer,
dancer, drummer, who has given a lot too so many people,
who had endeavored the spirit of his music and performances
mainly in Germany and Japan, where he goes every summer.
In fact his hands look like flying and hovering.
So light and effortlessly expressing a highly relaxed
state of mind, that so many people are seeking in these
days.
But somehow most of them are not able to feel light
at all as a result from their chosen lifestyle.
