The Kandy Perehara
Each year the legendary Perehara Festival captures Kandy for some very special 10 evenings in July and August.
Also visitors from all over Sri Lanka are flooding the city in order to see up to over 100 colorful Perehara Elephants and countless drummers, dancers and musicians, which are flooding Kandy town with an absolutely unique Sri Lankan sound and atmosphere.
