Sunil is the hard working owner of the amazing Peacock Hotel and Restaurant on Unawatuna South Beach.

His kitchen team is exceptional as well as his chef Gamini, who had once come all the way from Kandy to join the Peacock operation.

Nilanga @ Wimal

Nilanga is the owner of the Wimal Restaurant, which had been very prominent among visitors from Germany due to his exceptional command of the German language.

In early 2006 he went to Germany, where he became a happily married man in Berlin leaving his restaurant closed for season 06/07.

Germans in Unawatuna

For a while Nilanga was catering to East German Andy and his partner Alfred, who were his regular guests, when they kept on trying to develope various businesses in Unawatuna.

Both Germans had been extremely popular on the beach.
