Koggala Lake
The Koggala Lake is so big, that during second world war the British Air Force had been able to start their attacks against the Japanese with watering planes from this famous Southern Sri lankan water.
Visitors also enjoy seeing the Spice Garden and a Buddhist temple with many white clothed devotees and floral offerings during the Poya ( full moon ) holidays.
