Sri Lankans and foreigners were both enjoying the beauty of Unawatuna Bay to the fullest while the weather conditions had been nothing but splendid in December 2004.
Crystal blue skies, hardly any rain and prices still kind of affordable.
Those were the memories of a holiday season, that could not have started any better before the Tsunami and the second chapter of the civil war had become some solid threat to the livelihoods of the Unawatuna village.
