In week 3 at the Admirals Roger Robinson had shown 14 carries for 95 yards and 1 TD. His longest rushing attempt had been over 66 yards. In addition he had caught 2 passes for 4 yards.
And by the end of the season his 214 carries for 4 TDs and 1,087 yards had made him the best in the NFL Europe.
