Unawatuna

The beach in Unawatuna is very exceptional for Sri Lanka because no aggressive beach boys or regular pollution spoil the experience.

Of course every now and then someone is trying to sell fruits, crafts or cloth, but still the manner is fairly laid back.

Only an increasing amount of dogs doesn`t look nice however some tourists even feed them from their lunch and dinner tables.
