After that Colombo airport had demanded payments the
plane crew took off to Thailand.
On the same day foreign aid workers started to complain
about a new tragic bottleneck in form of a presidential
order, that forces all aid deliveries to go through
government channels, which include badly managed and
overflowing warehouses.
This explains clearly, why only a few miles out of
Galle no sufficient help had become available.
At the same time several Charity and Help organizations
praise their efficiency whilst eyewitnesses report no
real support at all.
At least the coast road had been made assessable again.
