Even the largest hotel in the region, the Nilaveli Beach had been flattened completely, not to mention the survival chances within the refugee and army camps right on the Nilaveli Beach.

All these pictures here were taken only a few days before the Tsunami and certainly that little beach shack here had become complete history on Dec 26 of 2004.
