Sri Lanka - Kandy

Despite the unpleasant exhaust fumes of the passing lorries, busses and Three Wheelers the Kandy Lake has emerged as a prime spot for a little bit of romance for the Kandyan youth.

With women still being generally forced to stay at home after dark the overall quality of communication between the genders has remained extremely poor in Kandy.

Unlike in civilized countries the Kandyan women are even excluded from pubs and nightclubs, which for that reason can only please international visitors in case they are gay.

At least the local girls can enjoy talking to each other at the Lake, where they find their little bit of privacy.
