Frankfurt Galaxy had captured World Bowl 1999 in a superb clash with the Barcelona Dragons at Rhein Fire with the final score of 38:24.

Surely this had been hard to swallow for the Fire Fans, but during the season Galaxy had turned out to be the somehow more consistent team.
