Back in Amsterdam Galaxy head coach Mike Jones had been defending his quarterbacks at the press conference saying, that "you can`t put it on Spinner".

And somehow he had managed to make his team survive 3 bitter losses against the Admirals and against Rhein Fire in the season opener.

Despite his outstanding skills and expertise some Galaxy supporters had often been critical about the work and concepts of Mike Jones so that it feels more than good to see him leading the Men in Purple once again into a World Bowl where he will challenge Bart Andrus, who had been working together with him for the Rhein Fire during season 2000.

At that time Rhein Fire had celebrated the last title win against the Claymores in fact at the old Galaxy Waldstadium.
