The Vikings 2005 feature Qb Brad Johnson, Will Hunter from the Centurions and WR Marcus Robinson from the Rhein Fire, who had also played for the Bears and the Ravens.

QB Shaun Hill and Punter Darren Bennett had gathered experience at the Amsterdam Admirals and top WR Marcus Robinson at Rhein Fire before he had gone to the Bears.

CB Oliver Celestin has played for Berlin Thunder and WR Ben Nelson for the Cologne Centurions.

Center Mike Malano from Rhein Fire 2002 got cut and nose tackle Winfield Garnet from the Amsterdam Admirals scored a spot.

Season 2002 had brought more from QB Todd Bouman, who had played World Bowl for the Barcelona Dragons in 1999 and who is now playing for the Saints.

QB Spergon Wynn had impressed during season 2001 at the Amsterdam Admirals, but did not survive in Minnesota.

A long time ago Frankfurt Galaxy head coach Mike Jones had played for the Vikings.

Randy Moss had helped the Vikings into the 2000 Playoffs and became one of the top two Wide Receivers.
