On injured reserve remained CB Calvin Branch, from the Barcelona Dragons, who had played in 16 games during season 2000 producing 11 solo tackles + 2 assists.

In 1999 he had played World Bowl alongside Lawrence Phillips for the Barcelona Dragons against Frankfurt Galaxy WR Andy McCullough, who didn`t make it into Team 2001.

In 2000 the Raiders finished on top of the AFC West and League MVP Tackle Steve Wisniewski had shown superb action on the field.
