Danny Wuerffel had started slow @ Fire, but by the end of a
great season he had earned QB of season 2000 rewarded by 3rd
string @ the Packers winning over a great Marcus Crandell.
From the Packers to the Bears hasn`t been too far, where
he had spent 2001 until the Houston Texans had given him a
call.
Days in Houston were cut short after by the Redskins, where
he had even reached the starting position at the in week 5
of season 2002. But again a little tragedy hit the World Bowl
Champion, when a DE tackle resulted in a serious shoulder
injury that threw him out of the game. On top of that the
no.3 rookie quarterback played the game of a lifetime.
