Kapalua- Chris Tan
Fashion Designer Chris Tan started her Kapalua Label as a one woman show way back in 1986. On Hawaii Kapalua means Butterfly and so colorful is her Design, which is built on simplicity. In 1994 her Fashion reached the Javitz Center in New York, where her knitwear sold out fast. This felt encouraging and by now 56 Fashion Experts are working for Kapalua creating between 300 and 500 items per season for more than 1800 prime retailers all around the world. Now she is looking forward to expand into Southern Europe and into the UK, where her fine Fashion is bound to go down very well. Interview Chris.Tan |
